Hi, I’m Catherine—owner, creative director and the photographer behind Silhouette Photography in Calgary.
Behind the lens
For as long as I can remember, I have had a camera in hand. What began as a love for noticing people and moments has become the privilege of preserving the beautiful journey of life—one milestone at a time.
I photograph maternity, newborn, family, birthdays, childhood milestones, headshots, personal branding and corporate events. The subjects change, but the purpose stays the same: to help people feel comfortable, confident and genuinely seen.
You do not need to know how to pose or arrive with every detail figured out. I will help shape the concept, offer clear direction and pay attention to the small things. My goal is to create an experience that feels welcoming while producing photographs with polish, emotion and lasting meaning.
